Tori Abreu dos Santos (they/them) is a queer Brazilian-American songwriter, sound artist, and composer for film and multimedia currently residing in Brooklyn, NY.

Born and raised in Northeast LA, they have played classical violin for 19 years, and obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Bennington College in 2022 with concentrations in music, sound practices and sociology. Among the many genres that inspire them are avant-garde/contemporary classical music, musique concrète, indie folk, countrygaze, neo-soul and art rock. Their music and sound art reflect their multifarious interests and lived experiences.

Tori is a music licensing assistant to composer Ego Plum based in Los Angeles, and is also violin teacher at Rock’scool Brooklyn.
